The Sonnberghof has existed as an organic farm for several generations. Two generations ago, a youth hostel was also opened, which was later converted into an inn with private rooms by Mrs. and Mr. Holzer. Over 22 years ago, Christine and Franz Riedlsberger took over the business and developed it step by step into a 4* superior nature hotel with its own organic farm and exclusive and spacious wellness area.

The Gut Sonnberghof Naturhotel is located in Mittersill, nestled between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern. Kitzbühel and Zell am See are both only about 30 minutes away, and the entrance to the Kitzbühel ski area is just a 5-minute drive from the hotel.

The hotel is open all year round, there is a vacation in the fall (mid-November to mid-December) and in the spring (mid-April to early May).

Dogs are welcome in selected rooms at the Gut Sonnberghof Naturhotel. There is also a separate restaurant area where four-legged friends are also permitted by prior arrangement.
