Fences:Many years ago, barbed wire fences were replaced by electric fences on most pastures so that there was no longer any risk of injury to people or animals. Contact with the electric fence is unpleasant, but not dangerous.
Cows:We generally advise caution when dealing with cows with calves. Since the maternal instinct is strong in some young cows, we generally recommend taking dogs on a short leash and walking through them quickly in such a situation.
Living:Your dog is also welcome to live with you in the farmhouse or in the main building in the Vitalhaus, unfortunately no dogs are allowed. We ask that you use your special dog blanket.
Outside:You are welcome to walk your dog on a leash within the complex. (Please not at the swimming biotope and in the meadows). If it is urgent, we ask that you remove it yourself immediately. This also applies if it "happens" outside the facility. Dog excrement in the meadows is very harmful to the organic feed of our cows. Dog feces in cattle feed can lead to NEOSPOROSIS. The result is discarding, often in the 5th and 6th month. Leashes are compulsory outside of the facility, there are very beautiful walking paths in the forest and also in the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Restaurant: On our sun terrace, you can enjoy our wonderful view. If you want to eat with your dog, please remember to keep the leash. Dogs are also allowed in the fireplace room. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. Please leave him in the room during this time.
Hiking:You are welcome to use the guided hikes with your pet! Unfortunately, dogs etc. are not allowed in the hiking taxi.
You can get information about the price for staying with a dog at the reception.
For home:

400g liver (e.g. from game, beef, chicken) 200g oatmeal 200g wholemeal flour 2 eggs Gr. M Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic Parsley A little olive oil Preparation: It is best to have the liver minced in the shop, otherwise chop it in a food processor until you have a paste. Mix in all ingredients. If necessary, add a little water so that you can place small heaps on a baking tray lined with baking paper with a tablespoon. Bake in a preheated oven at about 180 degrees for about 20 - 25 minutes. The biscuits must also be well baked on the inside. Leave the biscuits to dry out in the switched-off oven.
