General Terms and Conditions (GTC) – Gut Sonnberghof Nature Hotel
(based on the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions 2006 – AGBH 2006)
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the accommodation contract between Gut Sonnberghof Nature Hotel (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”) and the guest, as well as to all related services. In addition, the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions 2006 (AGBH 2006) shall apply.
2. Prices & General Information
All prices are inclusive of taxes and duties.
All rooms are non-smoking rooms.
Rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Errors, printing or calculation mistakes are reserved.
3. Conclusion of Contract & Deposit
For a confirmed booking made via our reception, a deposit of €300 per room is required.
Payment must be made by bank transfer to the account stated in the booking confirmation (including IBAN & BIC).
Bank transfers within the EU using IBAN & BIC are free of charge.
The booking becomes binding only once the deposit has been received by the Hotel.
The transfer must be made within 10 days of receiving the booking confirmation.
The Hotel reserves the right to request additional security or a credit card guarantee.
4. Errors and Price Mistakes
All price information on our website, in emails, offers, or printed materials is subject to obvious errors.
Should it subsequently become apparent that a price was incorrectly stated due to a clearly recognizable error (e.g. typing error, calculation error, or system error), we reserve the right to:
contest the contract in accordance with § 871 of the Austrian Civil Code (ABGB), or
correct the price accordingly.
In such a case, the guest will be informed immediately and may freely decide whether to:
maintain the booking at the corrected price, or
cancel the booking free of charge.
5. Arrival and Departure
Check-in: from 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: by 11:00 a.m.
Late departures may incur an additional charge.
Without prior notice from the guest, the room may be reassigned after 8:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
6. Means of Payment
On site we accept:
Cash
Debit cards
Credit cards (Visa & Mastercard)
Upon request, the remaining balance may be transferred one week prior to arrival.
Note:
There is no ATM in the immediate vicinity. The nearest ATMs are approximately 5 km away in Mittersill or Hollersbach. Please consider any withdrawal limits imposed by your bank.

7. Cancellation Policy (Hotel Regulation)
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Up to 21 days before arrival: free of charge
From 20 days before arrival, late arrival or early departure: 80% of the board price
On the day of arrival or in case of no-show: 100%
We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

8. Withdrawal by the Hotel
The Hotel may withdraw from the contract for important reasons, including but not limited to:
force majeure
incorrect or misleading information provided during booking
justified suspicion that the stay may impair hotel operations or other guests
No claim for damages shall arise.
9. Rights and Obligations of the Guest
The guest undertakes to:
treat rooms and facilities with care
report any damage immediately
comply with the house rules
The guest is liable for damages in accordance with statutory provisions.
10. Pets
Pets are permitted only upon request and in selected rooms.
A cleaning fee will be charged for pets.
Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, wellness, and spa areas.
The pet owner is liable for any damage caused.
11. Liability
Liability is governed by statutory provisions (in particular §§ 970 ff ABGB).
For valuables, the use of the in-room safe is recommended.
Use of wellness, sports, and outdoor facilities is at the guest’s own risk.
12. Data Protection (GDPR)
Personal data is processed exclusively for the fulfillment of the contract and in accordance with the privacy policy.
13. Place of Jurisdiction & Applicable Law
Austrian law shall apply.
The place of jurisdiction is the competent court at the location of Gut Sonnberghof, provided the guest is not a consumer within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG).
14. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the intended economic purpose.
